Hughes Networks Launched Satellite Broadband Plans - 2005-12-14
Hughes Networks Systems Europe today launched nine new satellite broadband service offerings with throughputs of up to 4 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload, including both asymmetrical and symmetrical capabilities. All service offerings, the nine new and the existing four, have been categorized into two families: Classic and Premier.
In the Classic range, four new service plans have been added to the four existing ones. These four new offerings deliver internet access with up to 8 times the upload speeds and double the daily volume allowances over existing plans. With the new Premier range powered by the new DW7000 satellite broadband platform, small and medium business users can get higher speeds, a choice of asymmetrical or symmetrical plans and no monthly download volume restrictions.
Customers can now opt for these plans through Hughes' reseller channels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
