Jazztel To Offer Triple Play Over ADSL2+

Jazztel To Offer Triple Play Over ADSL2+ - 2006-01-03 Spanish telecoms company Jazztel is offering ADSL up to 20 MB plus free national calls for €14.98 per month plus television for €1 per month. Jazztel has launched its interactive television package, Jazztelia, on trial in Zaragoza and Torrejon de Ardoz (Madrid), and will continue gradually its introduction in all the Spanish major cities. Customers will view Jazztelia using ADSL2+ without the need of new antennas or wiring in their premises. Interactive television needs the plug in of the set top box supplied to the ADSL line. The initial offer includes 30 channels and in the near future the digital terrestrial television (DTT) offer will be available. Jazztelia has deals with content providers such as Sony, Universal, Fox, Turner, Viacom productions to compile this first-class offering. The channels offered are TCM, Calle 13, Canal Hollywood, Cosmopolitan, Bloomberg, MTV España, MTV Hits, Sol Musica, VH1, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Boomerang, Jetix, CNN, National Geographic, Discovery, Viajar, Canal Cocina and History Channel. The TV guide is available online on the content portal (www.jazztelia.com). The customers will be able to access the content of Jazztelia TV for €1 per month (valid until 31 May 2006). Regular prices will be €3 per month for the television service and €8.55 per month for the basic offer, an offering up to 30 channels.
